2 injured in Tangra wall collapse in Kolkata

KOLKATA: An 11-year-old boy and a 50-year-old woman were injured when a boundary wall of an under construction building at Devendra Chandra Dey Roy Road in Tangra collapsed on Sunday morning.
Adarsh Roy was headed to a shop and Mina Devi was standing outside her house when the 20-feet-wide wall collapsed on them. Roy was injuried on his head, neck, ears and spine while Mina Devi suffered a leg injury.Both were dragged out by family members and local residents and taken to NRS Medical College and Hospital andwere discharged after preliminary treatment.
